Lap AND Timecode of incident: Something after 150 Cars involved: 31, UPC - Czech ISP Brief Description of incident: UPC downloads big amount of porn which causes car 31 to disconnect and completely lose its LFS motivation.
NDR already came up with a similar idea, I don't really remember the whole idea and how it would work, but this is how I see it.
If there's a league or a race and it's very well-organised, would you be willing to pay a small entry fee to get in? On the other side, a few top positions would get payed back as a prize money.
Example: 50 competitors give $5 which makes $250.
After a season or a single race ended, the prize money will be given.
1st: $75
2nd: $50
3rd: $35
4th: $20
5th: $15
...
or similar.
Organizer might keep something as it takes a lot of time to run a league.
Some people will say that the fastest guys will take it. Well, this is why more top positions would get a prize money. Maybe reversed grids would help a bit as people think they can at least try to hold their positions like this. Well, eventually the fastest will have most points anyway, but it's still better than let them start on top again after the first race.
There's another option. Like only those who want to fight for prize money will give the entry fee and only them can win the prize money, of course. If no one else gives anything, the entry fee will be given back.
That prize money doesn't have to necessarily limited.
An example: A gives $20, B gives $10. B wins and gets $20.
Basically you can't get from anyone else more than you have given as a fee.
If there are more people like this, it would be a bit more complicated as you would have to find out how much can get everyone and it would be related to how much has he given etc. Some kind of formula would be made for it.
Also, some people who say they are not fast enough might eventually take a part if the league is really "PRO", I think. Something like IGTC/MoE. A league, which can give them some kind of respect even if they only participate.
Congratulations to the winners and top 3s. Tommy Østgaard securing first place quite easy with reserve of 60+ points in the Drivers Championship. Right behind is Kristaps Dzelzgalvis on 2nd and Didzis Nāckalns on 3rd, both from [STO] team, which won the Team Championship. Tommy Østgaard, the only scoring driver for ineX Racing, made it himself up to 2nd place in the Team Championship. Th1rd is TH1RDid with Reno Kööts and Joe Holmes who were unfortunately inactive after half of the season.
When I take standard FZR, it says FZR... When I take 23kgs on it, it says FZI, but when I taky 25kg it still says FZI. Basically it always says FZI if it's not GT2 or GT3 or standard, but it never confirms the car as a FZR_16H or FZ2_16H. XR2_16H works.
Yea, I wasn't updating anything myself, I only used the updates in CP and that's all. But everything's solved now, our Airio is setted up properly and running.
About the damage of stats files, it's too late now anyway as I did it already without !quit-ing the Airio, but seems like nothing was damaged and if was, doesn't matter, we don't mind of removing the stats as we don't have anything special there so far.
If you remember the thread "Announcing Tiger Express Motorsports", it's been a while since we last posted there. And as we now decided to start promoting ourselves here on forums again, I have started this thread for this reason.
The 3rd annual New Dimension Racing Kyoto 500 will take part in less than 48 hours. The race will be 270 laps long (including 5 pace laps) at Kyoto Oval (KY1).
Tiger Express will be the 2nd most representated team (being Fragmasters, tieing with Epic Racing) with 5 cars, all driven by Kyoto 500 rookies. They will represent 1/6 of the field.
Michal Saidl created the sensation in qualifying, after taking the 2nd position, with an average time of 36.3925, 0.0025 behind the pole sitter, Dan Sanger. “I did 3 times 36.96, but made a mistake in the last lap which resulted in ‘only’ 36.97. This is how I lost the pole :/.” said Mike.Nevertheless, he still is the best qualified rookie for this edition.
Vince Verstreken follows in 7th position, Dominik Engel is 12th, Yann Laprevotte 17th. Niko Puntola qualified 24th but has to withdraw due to personnal reasons, allowing Lims Chebbi (31th) to integrate the last row.
The race will start at 16:45 GMT on Saturday, June, 26th 2010, and should be approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes long. It will be broadcasted live on MultiBC.
Have a question. When you update Airio, do you update all the files (except the stats files), or do you update only the .exe file and the rest of required files? Because what I found out is basically that our files are probably non-updated due to the !ahelp command should show more and different comands as EQ Worry told me. I would update the files myself, but I don't have them of course. I mean, we have the non-free version only because of Vince Lombardi who bought it before for Dinamo Motorsports. He should have the files, but he's not much online lately.
EDIT: Solved. EQ Worry told me that the files are same as in FREE version.
Is there any possible reason why the server gets unpassworded? I putted pass on like three times already and it was always unpassworded again when I came. The setup.cfg is edited so restart shouldn't affect it and no one removed the password manually (at least that what I was said so far).
